Weddings at Gisburne Park
Weddings at Gisburne Park are super special. Hiring one off Lancashire’s largest private estates for 2-3 days exclusively to you is pretty cool, it has to be said. Sprawling over 1000 acres of Ribble Valley countryside Gisburne is a breath-taking setting for your wedding. Hidden within the estate is a beautiful and magical wedding venue owned and managed by Guy Hindley and family. The venue is a hidden valley surrounded by beautiful bridges, medieval houses and incredible woodlands home to some beautiful wildlife. Its the only place where I have been photographing a wedding and had a herd of deer drop in to see what was going on.
Why Do I Love Weddings at Gisburne Park
Back in 2020 (oh god are we addressing that again) when everything went a bit mental, was my first visit to Gisburne. We had just come out of lockdown and I had a phone call asking if I could help photograph a festival. Yep, I thought they were mad too, but so am I (just a little) and I had to say yes. This was my first look at the stunning wedding venue but set out for a festival. Driving down the hill onto the site for the first time it just blew me away what a hidden amazing setting there was. Becoming resident photographer for the festival for 3 months was something that changed me and gave me the great opportunity to become a recommended wedding supplier when everything returned back to normal. Now driving through the gates feels like coming home. Having almost lived on site for a good few months Gisburne has become part of me and going back to photograph weddings is just so special for me.
