Chester Pride – Official Photography

Earlier this year I was asked to be the official photographer for Chester Pride. How can I say no! Being a massive supporter of the LGBTQ+ community and having photographed many same sex weddings and civil ceremonies it was a massive honour to be asked to be part of such a wonderful celebration.

With my Brother – In – Law and his partner being key members of the organisational team it was amazing to see them come into their own on the day in full flow making sure the parade ran smoothly and all the events and acts were able to perform on time. It also gave me an immense sense of pride to see them deal with such adversity as the original date was cancelled due to bad weather and for them to then have six weeks to pull of this incredible celebration. I had an amazing day and it really was great to see the city of Chester rally together for this wonderful celebration.

With a parade through the streets of  Chester culminating in an amazing celebration with music from Whigfield and headlined by Ex-Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle.
