Dog friendly wedding at Stock Farm
Last October I took another trip to the fab Stock Farm. This has to be one of my favourite Cheshire venues, in fact I love it so much I chose it as the location for my recent wedding photography workshop!
Matt and Kathryn are a fab couple, so friendly and full of fun. From the moment I met them I knew their day was going to be incredible and I wasn’t disappointed. They also had a very special ring bearer who completely stole the show in the ceremony, the wonderful Douglas, their pup!
Weddings at Stock Farm
As a recommended supplier I know Stock Farm well, it’s such a great venue and perfect for laid back couples looking for a unique venue for their wedding.
Set in the heart of the vast Tatton Estate, Stock Farm is a romantic and rustic barn venue. The converted barn is a brilliant blank canvas. Couples can go wild with the decor and really make it their own. The lawn is an ideal spot for post wedding drinks and has a firepit for evening marshmallow roasting. Couples love the festival vibe and the rolling Cheshire hills that surround the Farm.
Stock Farm gives every couple that gets married there a tree to plant on the Estate, such a beautiful touch. I really love their attention to detail. Nothing is too much for them and the team that runs the venue are just brilliant. It’s always a pleasure to photograph a wedding there.
Dog friendly weddings in Cheshire
One of the best things about Stock Farm is that it is dog friendly. Yes, that’s right, your canine pal can join you at your wedding. After all, they’re such an important part of your family so it makes sense that they come along on such a big day.
As I mentioned, the very cute Douglas was their guest of honour. Everyone made such a fuss of him and he loved all the cuddles and strokes he was getting. During the ceremony he bounded down the aisle, looking so smart in his black tie collar. As Matt and Kathryn were announced as husband and wife he barked with joy, much to everyone’s delight!

After the ceremony I gathered everyone together for a big group photo, then left the guests to enjoy fizz and canapes as I documented all the smiles and laughter. Douglas bounced around, posing for photos and trying to snaffle the odd canape. He really was the star of the show!
The whole day was a whirlwind of joy. Music filled the courtyard and everyone piled into the barn for a wedding feast. Before we knew it it was time to hit the dancefloor and party!
Matt and Kathryn’s day was fab, these are just a handful of my highlights…
